The people behind the kennel name Pihkatassu are Risto and Johanna. We are
professional gardeners, although neither of us do it for living. Risto drives a
truck, Johanna studies for the qualification of small animal attendant and is
working as a veterinary assistant at a clinic.

Dogs became our mutual hobby in 2005 when our first dog, Realsilveer Kent Clark,
came to live with us.

We attended a course for breeders in the fall of 2006 and
applied for a kennel name, which we received in the spring of 2007. We are
members of the Finnish Kennel Club and the Finnish Miniature Schnauzer Club.
